Qualifications
Life-changing event of mother’s hospice care and death led to the study of Healing Touch and becoming a hospice volunteer. Volunteer work for Fairview Home Care and Hospice involved visiting clients for caretaker respite and doing Healing Touch for those who were dying and those who were grieving. Was instrumental in bringing Healing Touch to the Bereavement and Spiritual Care Services to use as a tool for healing grief. Was a member of the Fairview Hospice Ethics Committee. Is a partner in Willow LLC, exploring choices of conscious living and dying, providing education, consulting, and resources. Previous employment in food advertising helped developed the skills of self-motivation, attention to detail, relationship and communication skills, sensitivity to group dynamics, ability to organize, reliability. Proven ability to build positive relationships with clients. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
